We’re pleased to announce that for the 2024 season we will be entering a 5th XI in the Berkshire Cricket League 4B. For this season without a home ground available we will be playing away from home with 7 fixtures currently scheduled, starting on 11th May.

This league is specifically a “Development League” so will be centred around social cricket and introducing younger players into senior cricket. Dave Jeary has kindly “agreed” to take a lead on this side working closely with Tom as the 4th team captain on selection.

We’ve identified a high volume of players wanting to play plus lots of younger players developing at an impressive rate and believe we’re now at a point where 5 teams is necessary to meet this demand. As a club we are exploring options for a 3rd home venue for Saturday fixtures with a view to full participation in league cricket for our 5th XI in 2025.
